Getting There

  • Bus

    From Patras, head to the KTEL Patras bus station, which is located at 24, Kolokotroni Street. Once there, purchase a ticket for Nafpaktos. Buses to Nafpaktos run frequently, approximately every hour. The journey takes around 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival at the Nafpaktos bus station, exit the station and follow the signs towards the town center.

  • Walking

    From the Nafpaktos bus station, walk straight ahead on the main road (Leoforos K. Karamanli) for about 10 minutes until you reach the waterfront. This area is known as the Nafpaktos harbor, where you'll find shops, cafes, and beautiful views. Continue walking along the waterfront until you reach the end of the promenade, where you will see signs directing you towards the Venetian Castle.

    Once you reach the end of the harbor promenade, turn left onto the road leading uphill (Od. K. Kallidopoulou). Follow this road for about 5-10 minutes. You will start to see the castle's walls as you approach. Keep walking until you reach the entrance to the Venetian Castle, which will be on your left. The entrance is marked, and there may be a small fee for entry.
