Walking
From the center of Pyrgos, head northwest on Epar.Od. Pyrgou - Kamari towards the main road. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 km until you reach the junction with Epar.Od. Fira - Pyrgou. Here, turn left onto Epar.Od. Fira - Pyrgou and walk for another 1 km. You will pass through a scenic area with beautiful views of the island. As you approach the town of Fira, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Kontochori. The Emmanuel A. Lignos Santorini Folklore Museum is located in Kontochori, just a short distance from the main road.

Start at the Pyrgos bus station located near the village square. Take the bus heading towards Fira. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Fira bus station, exit the bus and head towards the main road. Walk along the road in the direction of Kontochori. The museum is located on Kontochori, about 10-15 minutes walking distance from the bus station in Fira.

If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from Pyrgos to the Emmanuel A. Lignos Santorini Folklore Museum. Simply find a taxi at the Pyrgos taxi stand located near the village square. Inform the driver that you want to go to Kontochori in Fira. The drive will take approximately 10 minutes. Once you arrive, the museum will be easy to spot along the main road.
