Car
If you are driving from the Samaria Gorge, first exit the gorge and head towards Chania. From the entrance of the gorge, follow the signs to Chania, which is approximately a 40 km drive. Once you arrive in Chania, find parking near the Old Port area. The lighthouse is located at the end of the harbor, about a 10-minute walk from where you can park your car. Follow the waterfront promenade towards the lighthouse, enjoying the views along the way.

Public Transportation
To reach the Lighthouse of Chania from Samaria Gorge using public transportation, first take a bus from the nearby village of Agia Roumeli to Chania. The bus ride will take around 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Chania, disembark at the central bus station. From there, walk towards the Old Port, which is about 15-20 minutes on foot. Head straight towards the waterfront, and you will see the lighthouse at the end of the harbor.

After reaching the Old Port area in Chania, if you are already in the vicinity, simply walk along the waterfront promenade. The lighthouse is easily visible and you can enjoy a leisurely stroll of about 10 minutes from the central area of the port to the lighthouse itself. The lighthouse is located at the end of the harbor, providing excellent views of the surrounding area.
