From the Samaria Gorge exit (Xyloskalo) where your hike ends, drive towards Agia Roumeli. Follow the signs to Chania and then take the road towards Rethymno. Continue on the E65 highway for about 40 km until you reach the exit for Melidoni. Take the exit and follow the signs for Melidoni Cave, which is located approximately 10 km from the highway. Note that parking is available near the cave, and there may be a small fee for parking.
