If you are starting from Oia village, walk towards the main street (Agnondou Street) and head north. Follow the signs towards the castle ruins, which is a popular landmark. The Sundown Viewpoint is located just a short walk from the castle. When you reach the castle area, look for the path leading down to the viewpoint. It can get crowded, so arrive early to secure a good spot for the sunset. The viewpoint offers fantastic views of the caldera and the sunset.

From Fira, the capital of Santorini, take a local bus to Oia. The bus station in Fira is located near the main square. Look for the bus that says 'Oia' on the front. The journey will take about 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Oia, follow the previous walking directions to reach the Sundown Viewpoint.

If you are at Amoudi Bay, you can hike up to Oia. Start by walking up the steep path from the bay to the village. It’s a bit of a workout but offers beautiful views. Once in Oia, follow Agnondou Street north towards the castle ruins and then to the Sundown Viewpoint.
