Ferry and Metro
To reach the Acropolis Museum from the Saronic Gulf Islands, start by taking a ferry from your island (e.g., Hydra, Spetses, or Poros) to Piraeus Port. The ferry ride typically takes between 1 to 2 hours depending on your departure island. Once you arrive at Piraeus, follow the signs to the Metro station. Purchase a ticket for Metro Line 1 (Green Line) to Monastiraki Station, which costs approximately €1.40. The ride will take about 20 minutes. From Monastiraki, transfer to Metro Line 3 (Blue Line) towards the Airport and get off at the Akropoli Station. Exit the station, and it's just a short 5-minute walk to the Acropolis Museum located at Dionysiou Areopagitou 15, Athina 117 42.

If you're driving from the Saronic Gulf Islands, you will first need to take a ferry to Piraeus Port. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the exit and get onto the main road leading to Athens. Use the signs to navigate towards the city center and the Acropolis area. The drive from Piraeus to the Acropolis Museum should take about 25 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic. There are limited parking options near the museum, so be prepared to find a spot and walk approximately 10 minutes to reach the museum at Dionysiou Areopagitou 15, Athina 117 42.
