Getting There

    If you are traveling by car from the Saronic Gulf Islands, you will first need to take a ferry to the mainland. Ferries are available from islands like Hydra, Spetses, and Poros to the port of Galatas or Piraeus. Once on the mainland, follow the signs to the E65 road towards Epidaurus. The archaeological site is located approximately 30 km from the town of Nafplio. Upon reaching Epidaurus, follow the signs to the Sanctuary of Asclepius. There is parking available at the site.

    For those using public transportation, take a ferry from your island to Piraeus or Galatas. From Piraeus, you can take a KTEL bus directly to Epidaurus. The bus departs regularly, but check the schedule in advance for the most accurate times. Once you arrive at the Epidaurus bus station, the archaeological site is about a 15-minute walk. Follow the signs leading towards the site. If taking the ferry to Galatas, you may need to take another bus from Galatas to Epidaurus.
