Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Serres, head south on Egnatia Odos (E90). Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with 1st May Street. Turn right onto 1st May Street and walk for another 800 meters. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Agiou Nikolaou Street. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with 28th October Street. Turn left onto 28th October Street and follow it for about 1 kilometer. This road will take you to the outskirts of town. From here, you can follow the signs for the nearby village of Kato Dendro, which is a good reference point for reaching the Monument. Continue walking for another 1.5 kilometers until you see the monument ahead on your left.
