To reach Bear Rock via public transport, take a bus heading south towards Inalåhan. Buses run periodically from Umatac Bay to Inalåhan. Once you arrive at the Inalåhan bus stop, walk towards Bear Rock Lane. The walk is about 1 mile. Follow Bear Rock Lane for about half a mile until you reach the parking area at the base of Bear Rock. The bus fare is approximately $1.00 per ride, or $3.00 for a day pass.
Walking
If you are already in Inalåhan, reaching Bear Rock is best done by foot. From the center of the village, head south on Chalan San Jose. Turn left onto Bear Rock Lane and continue for approximately half a mile until you reach the parking area at the base of Bear Rock. The walk offers scenic views of the coastline and surrounding landscape. There are no costs associated with walking.
