    Getting There

    Driving

    From Tumon Bay, drive south on Marine Corps Drive (Route 1). Turn left onto Route 2A, then continue onto Route 2. Drive through Agat and continue for approximately 3 miles. Look for a red wall on the right side of the road. The trailhead is across the street on the left. Parking is free. If you reach Umatac, you've gone too far.

    Public Transport

    Take the Guam Public Transit bus (Route 1) southbound. Disembark at the nearest stop to the Mt. Lamlam trailhead on Route 1. From there, it's about a 30-minute walk to the trailhead. Alternatively, arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to cover the remaining distance to Mt. Lamlam, which is about a 5-minute drive from the bus stop. Bus fare is $1-3.

    Local tips

    Hike during the dry season (December to April) for more comfortable temperatures and less chance of slippery trails.
    Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and snacks, as there is little shade on the trail.
    Wear sturdy hiking shoes, as the trail can be steep and rocky in sections.
    Consider wearing long pants to avoid scrapes from the sword grass along the trail.
