Driving
From Hagåtña, take Marine Corps Drive (Route 1) south. Turn left onto Nimitz Hill, then left onto Route 6. Continue onto Route 2, then turn right onto Route 5. Follow Route 5 until you reach Naval Base Guam. Access to the beach requires a military ID. Parking is available near the baseball field, with a short trail leading to the beach.
Public Transport
Guam Mass Transit Authority (GMTA) buses operate on nine routes connecting most villages. Check the GMTA website for the route that services Naval Base Guam. From the bus stop, follow the directions for walking to the beach. A one-way bus fare is approximately $1.00.
Taxi
Taxis are available at major shopping centers and hotels. Ask your hotel to call a taxi. The standard flag rate is $2.40, plus $4.00 for the first mile and $0.80 for each additional quarter mile. Expect to pay around $15-$20 for a taxi from Tumon to Naval Base Guam.
