    Getting There

    Driving

    From Hagåtña, take Route 1/Marine Corps Drive south. Turn left onto Route 2 and continue south. Follow Route 2 as it climbs into the southern hills. The Cetti Bay Overlook will be on your right. Park along the street. There is no parking fee. Note: Roads can be rough, so it's recommended to get full coverage if renting a car.

    Public Transportation

    From major hotels in Tumon and Hagatna, take the Guam Regional Transit Authority (GRTA) bus. Bus routes connect nearly all of the villages on Guam. Check the bus schedule for specific routes and times. GRTA bus fares are $1.50 for a one-way pass and $4.00 for a day pass. From the bus stop nearest to Cetti Bay Overlook, it may be necessary to walk or take a taxi/ride-share to complete the journey.

The twin hills to the north, called Attelong Acho or Black Rock, are examples of pillow lava formed underwater during ancient volcanic eruptions. Looking south, Cocos Island can be seen off the coast of Merizo village. The coastal area around Cetti Bay has been inhabited by Chamorros for approximately 3,000 years, with latte stones and pottery shards serving as evidence of their presence. The Spanish later created a road system that followed the coastline from Hagatna, south through Cetti Bay to Umatac.Today, Cetti Bay Overlook is easily accessible and remains a popular destination for tourists and locals seeking a quick escape into nature. It's an ideal spot for photography, picnics, or simply soaking in the tranquility of the surroundings.
