Onward Mangilao Golf Club is a high-end resort-style course owned by the Japanese Onward Group. It is located on Guam's eastern coast, approximately 15 minutes from the main tourist area of Tumon. The golf course was designed in the early 1990s by the Nelson and Haworth design partnership. The scenic splendor and lush natural beauty of the course make it one of the most popular golfing destinations in the Pacific. In March 2025, Daemyung Sono Group acquired the golf course and rebranded it as SonoFelicità Country Club Guam Mangilao.The 18-hole championship course was designed by Robin Nelson, a famous course architect. He made use of the dynamic terrain and coastal beauty unique to the land of Mangilao, and skillfully took advantage of the strength and direction of the wind and the angle of the light. It is considered one of the best courses Nelson ever designed. The course is known for its seamless blend of beauty and challenge. The layout features lush, garden-like fairways wrapped around three serene ponds, offering a tranquil yet strategic journey for golfers of all skill levels. Two signature holes are perched above the turquoise Pacific Ocean, and dense jungle landscapes sway in the breeze.
