Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Central Park (Parque Central) in Antigua Guatemala, head southeast on 6a Avenida Norte towards 3a Calle Oriente. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 4a Calle Oriente. Turn left onto 4a Calle Oriente and walk until you reach the intersection with 5a Avenida Norte. Turn right onto 5a Avenida Norte and continue walking straight until you see the entrance to Convento Santa Clara on your left, just past the intersection with 3a Calle Poniente.

    If you are at the Antigua Guatemala Cathedral, exit the cathedral grounds and head towards the Central Park. From there, follow the directions above starting from the Central Park, or alternatively, walk directly along 5a Avenida Norte which will lead you straight to Convento Santa Clara.

    For those staying near the Mercado de Artesanías (Artisan Market), exit the market and head north on 5a Avenida Sur. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with 1a Calle Poniente.
