If you're driving from the Ixil Triangle area, start by heading towards the main road that connects to the Pan-American Highway (CA-1). Follow the signs for 'Quiché' and merge onto CA-1 towards Guatemala City. After approximately 2.5 to 3 hours of driving, keep an eye out for the exit towards 'Taxisco' (Kilómetro 87.5) on your right. Take this exit and continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you arrive at Auto Safari Chapin, which will be on your left. Ensure you have cash for the entrance fee, which is approximately Q100 per person.
