Boat
To reach San Marcos of the Lake Alley, start by taking a boat from any of the main towns around Lake Atitlán, such as Panajachel or San Pedro. If you're starting from Panajachel, head to the main dock and purchase a ticket for a boat heading towards San Marcos La Laguna. The boat ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Make sure to tell the boat operator that you want to disembark at San Marcos. Once you arrive at the San Marcos dock, you can follow the signs pointing towards the main areas of the town, including the Lake Alley.
