Public Transport
From Guatemala City, take a bus to San Vicente Pacaya from the Terminal de Buses del Sur near Plaza de la República. If you are traveling by car, head towards San Vicente Pacaya. From Guatemala City, head southwest on CA-9. From there, follow signs directing you to Pacaya Volcano and then to Aldea El Rodeo. The road may become narrower as you approach El Cielo. Parking may be available near the entrance to the hiking area.
