Getting There

Walking

From San Juan La Laguna, the Indian Nose hike begins at the stairway leading to Mirador Kaqasiiwaan. During the day, there is a 30 GTQ entrance fee to use the stairs. The trail to Indian Nose is on the left. The hike to the summit takes approximately 2 hours. Be prepared to pay landowners a fee of around 10-20 GTQ to cross their land.
Public Transport

From other towns around Lake Atitlán, such as Panajachel, take a boat to San Juan La Laguna. The boat from Panajachel costs 25 GTQ and takes 25-40 minutes. From San Pedro, the boat costs around 15 GTQ and takes 8-12 minutes. From the San Juan La Laguna dock, walk or take a tuk-tuk to the entrance of the trail. Tuk-tuks cost 5 GTQ.
