    From Flores, take a taxi or shuttle to Paso Caballos. The journey is approximately 2.5 hours on an unpaved road. From Paso Caballos, a 20-minute boat ride up the San Pedro River will take you to the station. Shuttle service from San Andres, Petén, to other parts of Guatemala is available. A taxi from Santa Elena to San Andrés costs approximately $17 - $21. Bus service is available from Santa Elena to Guatemala City for $40 - $65.
