    From the San Marcos La Laguna dock, walk uphill along the main path. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle Principal. Turn right and walk for 10-15 minutes until you see signs for Reserva Natural Cerro Tzankujil on your left. Follow the signs to the entrance. This walk is approximately 15 minutes.

  • Public Transport

    Arrive at San Marcos La Laguna by boat (lancha) from other towns on Lake Atitlán such as Panajachel or San Pedro. Lanchas from Panajachel cost approximately Q20 and take about 45 minutes. From San Pedro, the cost is between Q15-Q25 and the journey is shorter. Once in San Marcos, follow the walking directions to the reserve.
