Once you reach the junction, continue on the road towards Georgetown until you reach the town of Kaieteur. Note that this part of the journey may require a rental vehicle with good clearance due to rough roads in some areas.

From any location in the Kanuku Mountains, locate a bus or minibus heading to Lethem. Ensure the bus is heading towards Georgetown. The fare is typically around GYD 1,500 to GYD 2,500. After arriving in Lethem, transfer to another bus or minibus that will take you to the town of Kaieteur. This secondary transportation will also take around 3-4 hours. Make sure to confirm with the bus driver about stops along the route.
