Once in Linden, continue on the Mackenzie-Wismar Road and follow the signs to the Demerara River ferry terminal. After crossing the river, follow the signs to the Essequibo region. Keep an eye out for signs towards Kaieteur Falls, as the road may branch off to smaller paths leading to the park entrance. Be prepared for a combination of paved and unpaved roads. The total drive might take approximately 3-4 hours depending on road conditions and traffic.

To travel by public transportation, you can take a bus from New Amsterdam to Linden. Buses frequently depart from the New Amsterdam bus terminal.
