Keep an eye on road signs leading towards the park as they will guide you to the entrance. Expect to pay a fee for entrance to the park, which is typically around GYD 3,000 for visitors.

For those opting for public transportation, head to the Lethem bus terminal. There are buses and minibuses that leave for Kaieteur National Park. Make sure to ask the driver if they go directly to the park or if you will need to transfer. This journey can take several hours and costs around GYD 1,500 to GYD 2,000. Once you reach the entrance of the park, you may need to hire a local guide to take you through the park, which can cost an additional GYD 5,000 to GYD 10,000 depending on the length of the tour.
