From Lethem, drive north on the Takutu River Bridge Road (also known as the Lethem-Mabaruma Road). Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Iwokrama Road. Turn left onto Iwokrama Road and proceed for approximately 25 kilometers. You will see signs for Atta Rainforest Lodge; follow these signs to reach the lodge, which is located within the Iwokrama Rainforest Reserve.

From Lethem, take a minibus or taxi heading towards the Iwokrama area. The fare typically ranges from GYD 500 to GYD 1000 (about USD 2-5). Inform the driver that you are going to Atta Rainforest Lodge or Iwokrama Rainforest Reserve. The journey will take around 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on road conditions. Once you arrive at the Iwokrama intersection, you may need to hire a motorcycle taxi (locally known as 'bicycle taxi') to take you the remaining 15 kilometers to the lodge. Expect to pay around GYD 1000 (about USD 5) for this ride.
