The most common and convenient way to reach Macaw Mountain from Copán Ruinas is by tuk-tuk (motorcycle taxi). You can easily find tuk-tuks in Parque Central. The ride to the park, located 2 km north of the town center, takes approximately 5-10 minutes. Expect to pay around L25 per person each way. Negotiate the price beforehand. Some drivers may offer to wait for you or return at a specified time for the trip back into town.
