Car
From the main entrance of Pico Bonito National Park, head south on the CA-13 road towards La Ceiba. After approximately 10 km, you will reach a junction. Turn right onto the road marked for San Francisco. Continue on this road for about 5 km until you reach the town of San Francisco. Balneario comunitario is located near the center of San Francisco, at coordinates JXW8+HWW. Look for signs directing you to the public swimming area.
Public Transportation
To use public transportation, you can catch a bus from La Ceiba to San Francisco. Buses leave frequently from the main bus terminal in La Ceiba. Once you arrive in San Francisco, ask the bus driver to drop you off near the central area where Balneario comunitario is located. It is a short walk from the bus stop to the location. The bus fare is usually around 30-50 Lempiras.
Walking
If you are already in San Francisco, you can easily walk to Balneario comunitario. From the main square, head east on the main street for about 1 km. Look for signs leading to the swimming area. The walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes.
