Getting There

  • Water Taxi

    If you are staying in West End, head to the main dock where water taxis are available. Look for a water taxi heading towards Sandy Bay. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Sandy Bay, disembark at the Sandy Bay dock and follow the shoreline until you reach Gibson Bight, which is about a 10-minute walk from the dock.

  • Public Bus (Chicken Bus)

    From West End, catch a 'chicken bus' heading towards Coxen Hole. You can find these buses on the main road. Once you reach the Sandy Bay area, ask the driver to drop you off near the Sandy Bay sign. From there, walk down the road towards the beach, and continue walking along the shoreline until you reach Gibson Bight, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
