If you are driving from any location in Sula Valley, start by heading towards San Pedro Sula. From San Pedro Sula, take the CA-5 highway in the direction of La Ceiba. Continue on CA-5 for approximately 70 kilometers until you reach the junction for La Ceiba. Follow the signs for La Ceiba, and once you arrive, continue towards the northern coast. You will need to take the ferry from La Ceiba to the Bay Islands, specifically to Roatan, which is the closest island to Half Moon Bay Beach. The ferry costs around $30 one way. After arriving in Roatan, you can rent a car or take a taxi to West End, where Half Moon Bay Beach is located. It is approximately a 15-minute drive from the ferry terminal to the beach.

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from San Pedro Sula to La Ceiba. The bus ride costs approximately $10 and takes about 2-3 hours. Once you arrive in La Ceiba, you will need to take a taxi or local transport to the ferry terminal. The ferry to Roatan costs about $30 one way and takes approximately 1 hour. After reaching Roatan, you can use local taxis or shuttle services to get to West End, which is about a 15-minute drive from the ferry terminal to Half Moon Bay Beach.
