    If you are driving from anywhere in the Alföld region, take the M5 motorway towards Budapest. Follow the signs for the M0 ring road. Once you reach the M0, take the exit towards M3 heading into Budapest. Continue on M3 until you reach the exit for Hungária körgyűrű (Ring Road). Merge onto Hungária körgyűrű and follow the signs for Kerepesi út. Take Kerepesi út towards the city center. Follow Kerepesi út until you reach the junction with Vajdahunyad stny. where you will turn right. The castle is located at Vajdahunyad stny., 1146 Budapest, and there is parking available nearby, though it may incur a fee.

    If you prefer public transportation, start by taking a train from major towns in Alföld to Budapest. Once you arrive at Budapest Keleti railway station, exit the station and look for the tram stop. You can take tram number 1 or tram number 2 from the stop outside the station. Tram number 1 will take you directly to Széchenyi fürdő stop, which is a short walk from Vajdahunyad Castle. From the tram stop, head south on Állatkerti körút, then turn onto Vajdahunyad stny.
