If you are starting from the center of Akureyri, head southwest on Hafnarstræti toward the harbor. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Glerárgata. Turn left onto Glerárgata, and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see the Hearts of Akureyri Traffic Light on your right at Glerárgata, 600 Akureyri. It's a well-known tourist attraction, so keep an eye out for the red hearts.
