If you're traveling by car, start on the Ring Road (Route 1) heading east. From Egilsstaðir, continue on Route 1 for about 45 km until you reach the junction with Route 95. Take a left onto Route 95 and drive for approximately 23 km. Then, turn right onto Upphéraðsvegur (Route 701). Follow Upphéraðsvegur for about 5 km until you reach Litlanesfoss waterfall. There is parking available near the waterfall where you can enjoy the stunning views.

To reach Litlanesfoss using public transportation, take a bus from Egilsstaðir to Seyðisfjörður. The bus service operates daily, but be sure to check the schedule in advance as it may vary. Once in Seyðisfjörður, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a rideshare service to take you to Litlanesfoss, as there is no direct public transport to the waterfall. The taxi ride will take about 30 minutes and will cost approximately 10,000 ISK. It’s advisable to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
