If you are traveling by car, head southeast on Route 1 (the Ring Road) from Egilsstaðir. Follow Route 1 for approximately 30 km until you reach the junction for Route 931 towards Fljótsdalur. Turn onto Route 931 and continue for about 10 km. You will see the Hrafnkelsstaðir Information Sign located on Fljótsdalsvegur (Route 931), just off to the side of the road. There is no entrance fee or parking fee for this location.
