Start your journey from the central bus station in Egilsstadir. Head south on Hafnarbraut street towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road marked Route 1 (Þjóðvegur 1). Continue walking along this road. After approximately 3 kilometers, you will reach a bus stop at the intersection with Route 94. This is where you can catch a bus that will take you towards Dísarstaðir. Check the local bus schedule for times.

Once you are on the bus, ensure you stay on until you reach Dísarstaðir. The bus ride should take about 30-40 minutes depending on the schedule. Ask the bus driver to notify you when you arrive at Dísarstaðir. After getting off the bus, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to Flögufoss.
