If you are starting from the Egilsstaðir town center (Storgata Street), head south towards the main road (Route 1). Turn left onto Route 1 and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You will pass various shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards Lyngás. After about 1 kilometer, you'll see a sign for Lyngás on your right. Turn right onto Lyngás street and continue walking until you reach Lyngás Guesthouse at 5-7 Lyngás.

From the Egilsstaðir bus station, check the local bus schedule for routes heading towards Lyngás. Take the bus that goes towards the Lyngás area. The ride should take approximately 5-10 minutes. Get off at the nearest stop to Lyngás Guesthouse. After you exit the bus, walk a short distance down Lyngás street until you reach the guesthouse at 5-7 Lyngás.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from a nearby rental shop in Egilsstaðir. Once you have your bike, head south from the town center towards Route 1.
