Getting There

Walking
From the center of Grindavik, start at the main square (Tjarnargata). Head north along Tjarnargata street until you reach the junction with Lækjargata. Turn right onto Lækjargata and continue walking until you reach the bus stop at the main road (Route 43). Catch a bus heading towards Reykjavík. The bus ride to Reykjavík will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Reykjavík bus terminal, walk out towards the street and find the nearest bus stop for bus number 1 or 15. Take bus number 1 or 15 towards Hlemmur and get off at the stop 'Hlemmur.' From there, walk towards Fiskislóð street and follow the signs to 'Whales of Iceland,' which is located at Fiskislóð 23-25.

From Grindavik, walk to the main bus stop located on Route 43. Board the bus heading to Reykjavík. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Reykjavík bus terminal, transfer to bus number 1 or 15. Take bus number 1 or 15 towards Hlemmur and disembark at the 'Hlemmur' stop. After getting off, walk straight to Fiskislóð street. Continue walking until you reach 'Whales of Iceland' at Fiskislóð 23-25.
