The Norðurgarður Lighthouse is located at the North Mole Head, which is at the western edge of Reykjavík's harbor. Upon reaching the harbor area, look for signs directing you to the lighthouse, or use a GPS device with the coordinates 64.1528789, -21.9321002 to guide you directly to the lighthouse. Parking is available near the lighthouse.

Public Transportation
To reach Norðurgarður Lighthouse via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Egilsstaðir to Reykjavík. The bus journey takes about 6-7 hours. Once you arrive at the Reykjavík Bus Terminal (BSÍ), transfer to a local bus that goes to the harbor area. Bus routes 1 and 15 will take you close to the harbor. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the lighthouse, following the signs towards Vesturbær and the coastline. Make sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time, as they may vary by season.
