Start at the Grindavik town center. Head southeast on Aðalgata street towards the coast. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Reykjanesbraut (Road 43). Cross the road carefully, and then turn left onto Reykjanesbraut. Follow this road for about 4 kilometers. You will see signs directing you towards Reykjanes Lighthouse. Keep following the road until you reach the parking area for the lighthouse. The lighthouse is a short walk from the parking lot, and you will enjoy scenic views of the coastline along the way.
Biking
If you have access to a bike, start from the Grindavik town center and head southeast on Aðalgata. When you reach the intersection with Reykjanesbraut (Road 43), turn left. Follow Reykjanesbraut for approximately 4 kilometers, and look for signs indicating Reykjanes Lighthouse. The ride is relatively flat and offers beautiful views. Once you arrive, you can park your bike in the designated area and walk to the lighthouse.
Public Transport
Currently, there are no direct public transport options from Grindavik to Reykjanes Lighthouse. However, you can take a bus towards Keflavik from Grindavik. Get off at the nearest bus stop to Reykjanesbraut. From there, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers along Reykjanesbraut to reach the lighthouse.
