Follow the path which will take you directly to the base of the mountain.

Continue walking down Norðurbraut until you reach the intersection with Reykjanesbraut (Route 41). Cross the street carefully and follow the pedestrian path along the road. After around 2 kilometers, you will see Keilir ahead on your right. Follow the signs or local paths leading towards Keilir.
