From Husavik, you can take the bus from the Husavik Bus Station. Look for the bus heading towards Akureyri, as it stops near Laufás. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the nearest stop, which is called 'Laufás', disembark and walk towards the museum, which is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer a more active route, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local shops in Husavik. Start your ride on the main road (Route 85) heading south. The distance to Laufás Museum is about 13 kilometers (8 miles), and the ride will take approximately 40-50 minutes depending on your speed.
