    From the center of Akureyri, start at the Akureyri Church (Akureyrarkirkja) located at Eyrarlandsvegur 3. Head east on Eyrarlandsvegur towards the main road, Hafnarstræti. Once you reach Hafnarstræti, turn left and walk for about 500 meters until you get to the intersection with Strandgata. Turn right onto Strandgata and continue to follow it as it becomes Hlíðarvegur. After approximately 1 km, you will see a sign for Sunnuhlid houses on your left. It is located at 606 Akureyri.

    From Akureyri's main bus station (Akranes), take bus number 1 towards 'Sunnuhlid' which runs regularly. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the Sunnuhlid stop, which is the closest stop to Sunnuhlid houses. Walk approximately 200 meters from the bus stop to reach the guest house at 606 Akureyri.

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one from various rental shops in the city center. Head north on Hafnarstræti and then turn left onto Strandgata. Follow Strandgata as it turns into Hlíðarvegur. Keep cycling for about 1.5 km until you see the sign for Sunnuhlid houses on your left. The guest house is located at 606 Akureyri.
