Getting There

  • Car

    If you're traveling by car, start in the center of Hveragerði. Head southwest on Aðalstræti (Route 1) towards Heiðmörk. After approximately 1.5 km, turn right onto Heiðmörk road. Continue on this road for about 2 km. You will see the Reykjadalur Guesthouse on the left side at the address 2R25+484, Heiðmörk, 810 Hveragerði. Parking may be available on-site.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transport, take a bus from Reykjavik to Hveragerði. The bus ride takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Hveragerði bus station, you can either walk (approximately 25 minutes) towards Heiðmörk by heading southwest on Aðalstræti (Route 1) and then turning right onto Heiðmörk road, or you can take a taxi from the bus station to the guesthouse, which should cost around 2500-3500 ISK.
