From the main area of Kerlingarfjöll, head southeast on the main road (F35). Continue on F35 for about 12 kilometers. You will see a turn-off for Kerlingardalur on the right, marked with a sign. Follow this road, which is a gravel track, for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Kerlingardalur. Please note that a 1,000 ISK fee may be required for parking at the entrance.
