From the center of Kópavogur, head to the nearest bus stop. You can catch bus number 1 or 3 from the Kópavogur bus terminal. Take the bus towards Reykjavík. After approximately 10-15 minutes, get off at the 'Heiðmörk' bus stop. From there, follow the signs leading into the Heiðmörk nature reserve. The entrance is clearly marked, and you can enjoy the walking paths and beautiful scenery.

If you prefer to walk, start at the Kópavogur Church (Kirkja Kópavogs) and head east towards the main road (Smiðjuvegur). Continue straight until you reach the roundabout.
