Bus
From the center of Kópavogur, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is likely at Kópavogur Torg. Catch bus number 1 or 3 towards Reykjavik. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes until you reach the stop called 'Heiðmörk'. Once you disembark, walk straight ahead for approximately 5 minutes until you see the entrance to Heiðmörk on your right.
Walking
If you're closer to the Kópavogur Church (Kirkja Kópavogs), start by heading south on Kársnesbraut street. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Gvendarbrunnar. Turn left onto Gvendarbrunnar and follow it until you reach the entrance of Heiðmörk, which will be on your left after about 500 meters.
Bicycle
If you have a bicycle, start from the Kópavogur swimming pool. Head north on Linduvegur, and take a right onto Nýbýlavegur. Continue for about 2 kilometers until you reach the main entrance of Heiðmörk, which will be on your right. There are bike racks available near the entrance.
