Bus
From the center of Kopavogur, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at Hamraborg. Take Bus number 1 towards Mjódd. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop called Hlemmur. From Hlemmur, transfer to Bus number 14 towards Mjódd and stay on for about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop called Suðurgata. Hólavallagarður will be a short walk from the bus stop, approximately 5 minutes away, located on Suðurgata street.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, head towards the coast from the center of Kopavogur. Walk along the main road, Suðurlandsvegur, heading northwest. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Suðurgata. Turn right onto Suðurgata and walk for another 1 kilometer. Hólavallagarður will be on your left side. This walk may take about 45-60 minutes, but you will enjoy the scenic views along the way.

For those who enjoy cycling, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Kopavogur. Start at the main square, then take Suðurlandsvegur heading northwest. After about 3 kilometers, make a right turn onto Suðurgata. Continue cycling for approximately 1 kilometer until you see Hólavallagarður on your left. The bike ride should take about 15-20 minutes, and you'll be treated to beautiful views of the area.
