To reach Videy Island, start by heading to the Reykjavik Old Harbour. You can take a bus (line 14) from any central location in Kopavogur to the Reykjavik Bus Terminal. From there, transfer to bus line 1 or 3 which will take you directly to the Old Harbour. Once at the harbour, look for the ferry service to Videy Island. The ferry ride takes about 10-15 minutes, and tickets can be purchased at the harbour or online.

If you are near the Kopavogur Town Centre, you can take a leisurely walk to the Reykjavik Old Harbour. Start from the Town Centre and head west towards the sea, following the path along the coastline. The walk is approximately 6 kilometers and will take around 1-1.5 hours.
