Ferry
To reach Videy Island, start by heading to the Reykjavik Old Harbour. You can take a bus (line 14) from any central location in Kopavogur to the Reykjavik Bus Terminal. From there, transfer to bus line 1 or 3 which will take you directly to the Old Harbour. Once at the harbour, look for the ferry service to Videy Island. The ferry ride takes about 10-15 minutes, and tickets can be purchased at the harbour or online.

If you are near the Kopavogur Town Centre, you can take a leisurely walk to the Reykjavik Old Harbour. Start from the Town Centre and head west towards the sea, following the path along the coastline. The walk is approximately 6 kilometers and will take around 1-1.5 hours. Enjoy the scenic views of the ocean and surrounding landscape as you make your way to the harbour.

From Kopavogur, take bus line 1 from any bus stop towards Reykjavik. Get off at the 'Lækjartorg' stop, which is within walking distance to the Old Harbour. The bus journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the harbour and look for the ferry service to Videy Island.
