From downtown Reykjavik, walk to the main bus terminal, BSI. You can take Bus 55 towards Njarðvik. The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Make sure to get off at the stop 'Hjallavegur' which is the closest stop to the Icelandic Museum of Rock'n'Roll. Once you get off, walk a short distance down Hjallavegur, and the museum will be on your right.

You can easily hail a taxi from anywhere in Reykjavik. Simply ask the driver to take you to 'Hjallavegur 2, Njarðvík'. The trip will take about 30 minutes depending on traffic. This is a direct option and will drop you right at the museum.

If you're feeling adventurous and want to explore the area, you can rent a bicycle from a rental shop in Reykjavik. Head towards the coastal path that leads out of the city. Follow the bike lane signs towards Njarðvik. The ride will take about 1.5 hours. Once you reach Hjallavegur, look for the museum on your left.
