    From Reykjavik, take Route 1 (the Ring Road) heading southeast. Continue on Route 1 for about 80 km until you reach the junction for Route 30. Take the exit towards Route 30 and continue for approximately 30 km. At the T-junction, turn left onto Route 35. After about 10 km, you will see a sign for F578. Turn onto F578 and continue for about 5 km until you reach Karlinn. Make sure to keep an eye on the road conditions, as F578 may be gravel and can be challenging in bad weather.
