At Borgarnes, take Route 54 towards Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Follow Route 54 until you reach Hellissandur. From Hellissandur, follow signs for Snæfellsjökull National Park. Parking is available at various spots within the park. Note: Fuel costs and any potential tolls on Route 1 should be considered.
