If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Borgarnes. Take Route 1 (the Ring Road) heading south. After approximately 60 kilometers, take the exit towards Route 54 to Reykholt. Continue on Route 54 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Stykkishólmur. From Stykkishólmur, take a ferry to Heimaey (Vestmannaeyjar) which departs regularly. The ferry ride takes about 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Heimaey, follow the signs towards Stórhöfði. Icons of Iceland is located at CP24+4HP, which is just a short drive from the ferry terminal.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Reykjavik to Stykkishólmur. The bus departs from the BSI bus terminal in Reykjavik and the journey takes approximately 2.5 hours. Once in Stykkishólmur, you can catch the ferry to Heimaey. Be sure to check the ferry schedule in advance as it can vary. After arriving at Heimaey, you can utilize local taxis or rent a bike to reach Icons of Iceland at CP24+4HP. The bike rental is available near the ferry terminal.
