From Cambridge, take ID-71 South for about 36 miles, which will lead you to Hells Canyon Road. Turn right onto Hells Canyon Road and follow it for approximately 10 miles, where you will reach the recreation area. Be aware that some sections of Hells Canyon Road may be gravel, and a high-clearance vehicle may be recommended. Parking is available at designated areas within the recreation area.
